  • Lindal (Lynn), Wayne, and Marsha are names from past generations that I would use. I like Casey, Nikki (Nicole), Bridget, and Penny off the top of my head. However, I haven't had the honor of really considering names just yet.

  • John and Mary are boring, but Brayden and Astralhaze? I think common sense should come into play when naming a child and past generations.

  • By the way the Men's US Hockey Team is made up of young'uns, so it would be kinda like a 'Miracle on Ice' repeat. The newbies are kickin' some butt!! Go USA!!

  • It's hard to find the Olympic Hockey Games on TV, but I've been lucky so far and I have a search feature on my DirecTV where I can do a search for the keyword 'Hockey' and I usually find it. I think the NHL should become more invested in it and show it on the NHL channels. That way everyone wins.

  • It's the OLYMPICS...It's an honor that they are chosen to represent all the Nations. Take it as a gift and enjoy it, don't over-analyze it.

  • No fighting here. I think you are the one getting defensive because you know I'm right. How does anything I stated go against freedoms in the country? I think you seriously need to think about what you are truly trying to accomplish.

  • It sounds like your dog is barking because her pack is imbalanced. Have you yourself tried correcting the behavior? Without the use of a bark collar? It sounds like maybe she is barking due to insecurity. She needs a strong pack leader. Some dogs are very sensitive to the ranking of a pack.

  • Chuck, Of all people, I would expect more from you. As a "Canine Behavior Specialist" you should know that the majority of excessive barkers are a result of not enough interaction, activity, and obedience training.

  • But, it's the truth. Training and Exercise are key in raising a dog and preventing bad behaviors such as excessive barking. While, there are very few cases where debarking may be the only solution, to say that training cannot be done is inaccurate.

  • So, instead of you taking the time to introduce teaching and exercise, it was easier to stick a shock collar on her right?? But, you didn't even try the spray collar, right? Personally, I don't find that pain is the correct way to train an animal.
